Join the Mayor and special guests (including Santa!) in lighting Surrey’s official Christmas tree. Standing 60 feet tall, the tree will stay lit during the holiday season.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy free live entertainment across four stages, take photos with Santa, shop an expanded Holiday Market, experience amusement rides and light displays.
Be dazzled by Surrey Tree Lighting Festival’s sparkling light tunnel. Wander through the expanded Holiday Market and admire over 500-feet of waterfall lights and take pictures at fun photo opportunities. The festival will feature twinkling light displays and holiday décor around every corner for all ages to enjoy.
Presented by Concord Pacific, this year’s event will feature a variety of performers on the Snowflake Stage including Warren Dean Flandez, Come Fly with Me: Michael Bublé Tribute, Merry & Bright, Pat Chessell and Friends, Josh Bogert, Á’a:líya, and Phat Santa Swing. The North Pole Stage will showcase Fraser Valley Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”, holiday singalongs with Belle and Cinderella, and local choirs. The Candy Cane Dance Tent presented by ML Emporio will feature dance battles and DJs. Attendees can also visit the Grand Staircase in the City Centre library to experience local performers.

The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, and will stay lit throughout the day on Sunday, November 26 and until early January 2024.
