It’s time to get excited about The Big Picnic! Gather your friends and family from all over and come enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms in Yaletown.
Join us for Hanami (花見) – flower viewing – as we gather under the 100 Akebono cherry trees at David Lam Park. This year, we’re thrilled to introduce new activities and installations including BreakOUT – a group dance/movement activity, our Poetry in Motion booth, paper fan decorating, Wishing Tree, drum circles, and more.
Discover our Conversation Corner pink park benches where new friendships blossom, and indulge in an expanded array of culinary delights from our food trucks and vendors. With more interactive activities than ever before, surprises await around every corner.
Bring your friends and family to the heart of Yaletown to celebrate friendship under the cherry trees, accompanied by live music, arts activities, and workshops.
