Contestants will weigh their Gargantuan Gourds, as well as other giant fruits and veggies, in front of a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators, fellow growers and the media!
This is a very well-advertised event that draws nearly all local television and print media covering this amazing story each year. In 2019, our event drew nearly 4,000 people – it was our BIGGEST event ever!!!
It’s BC’s Official Great Pumpkin Commonwealth (GPC) and Certified World Recognized Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off Event!
Our event hosted in Langley, BC, is the ONLY world-recognized giant pumpkin weigh-off event in Western Canada, with the next closest event being hosted in Manitoba.
FREE ADMISSION for spectators: Please arrive early to Krause Berry Farms for brunch/lunch and enjoy the festivities! This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event!
Pick your very own pumpkin from their fields while checking out the Giants! Then, visit The Porch, The Market, The Bakery & KB Coral because they are serving everything PUMPKIN! Pumpkin pie, ice cream, waffles, shortcakes, fudge, milkshakes and all of your other fall favourites! Saddle up in their Estate Winery and enjoy a taste of their award winning wines, listen to LIVE music, before heading out for one more look at the winning Giant Pumpkin! Enjoy the show!

Contestant’s arrival time is between 9:30 and 10:30 AM.
Weigh off start time is around 11:00 AM. Giant (Atlantic) pumpkins, giant squash, largest field (regular) pumpkins, longest gourds, giant tomatoes and largest watermelons, are weighed in the order of their estimated weight, lightest to heaviest, with the largest pumpkins being weighed last.
