Urband Sketchy & Heritage

Get inspired to go outside to sketch your favourite neighbourhood spots or local heritage buildings. Join artist Zandro Tumaliuan on September 6th and immerse yourself in the urban landscape as you learn how to sketch with confidence some of Vancouver’s heritage buildings.

The two-hour program will include a brief introduction by Zandro, where he will share his insight as an artist and how Vancouver’s urban landscapes inspire him everyday!

The sketching portion of the day will include time in Yaletown. Throughout this time, you will be given tips and tricks by Zandro to help you understand and document the scenes around you. Bringing together the heritage of each sketching site, a member of VHF staff will share archival photos, and information about each place.
