Events Description
Run by our summer Senior in Residence Emmett Flood, this four-part workshop will guide you in creating a “living memoir” – helping you document and capture the important moments of your life in the form of a physical, adaptable memoir.
The focus of this workshop is on learning the different skills needed for record keeping in a meaningful, continuous method – including introspection, curation, and long-term commitment techniques. This workshop will be taught through mediums like writing and sketching, but can be customized to best suit each participant. The goal is for participants to create a memoir that grows alongside them, that they can return to over the coming years. Whether you’re looking for a new project, an avid scrap-booker looking to deepen your practice, or a parent hoping to share a piece of yourself with future generations – this workshop is for you.
