Music, movies, fun, and wellness take centre stage at Assiniboine Park’s Summer Entertainment Series!
The Summer Entertainment Series features musical performances at the Lyric Theatre and the outdoor Performance Garden at The Leaf, Movies in the Park, wellness classes, entertainment for kids, and returning this summer – Jazz in the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden! PLUS, special events will take place in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day and Canada Day!

Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration
Join us at Assiniboine Park on Saturday, June 24 for a day filled with music, entertainment, and fun in recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day.
Activities take place from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Concerts at the Lyric Theatre and the Performance Garden at The Leaf
- Food trucks at the Lyric Field and at the outdoor Gardens at The Leaf
- Bouncy castles, face painting, and activities for kids at the Lyric Field
- Makers market presented by Inspiration Market at the Lyric Field
- Fire teachings with Cree Crowchild at the Indigenous Peoples Garden
Canada Day
Join us at Assiniboine Park on Saturday, July 1 for a day filled with music, entertainment, and fun in recognition of Canada Day.
Activities take place from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm unless otherwise indicated.
- Citizenship ceremony at the Lyric Theatre, beginning at 10:00 am
- Beer garden on the patio at The Pavilion presented by Manitoba Liquor Mart
- Food trucks at the Lyric Field and at the outdoor Gardens at The Leaf
