Holiday Alley is a four-day winter festival celebrating art, light, sound, culture and creativity in the historic downtown of Selkirk, Manitoba.

Led by local Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, nearly 400 students from the region participate in a day of Indigenous storytelling, drumming, and crafts in celebration of Holiday Alley and Selkirk’s deep Indigenous heritage.

We’re thrilled to welcome Anvil Tree back to Selkirk as they bring their unique artistry to life with massive straw sculptures. This year, they’re teaming up with students from the Lord Selkirk School Division, and adding fresh energy and creativity to the project! Even more exciting: there may be more than one sculpture this time around! Come meet the artists, discover the process behind straw sculpting, and get a first look at the creation(s) before the final burn!

After popular demand and pushing capacity limits, we have made the Welcome Winter Concert a 2 part series! This choral concert will feature several choirs from across the region sharing some winter music and holiday favourites. Join us in singing along or sit back and simply enjoy the music!
