MEC Mother & Child Climb

JUST IN TIME FOR MOTHERS’ DAY
AN INTRO TO CLIMBING SESSION FOR MOMS AND KIDS.
FUN TIMES CAPTURED FOR YOU, BY OUR IN HOUSE PHOTOGRAPHER.

Enjoy this special intro to climbing session for mothers and children, as our in house photographer captures the memories for you. Have fun with your little, as you both learn some climbing basics with other active families.

Be ready, this event will fill up fast!

Registration Includes:

Intro climbing session for one parent and one child, lead by certified staff at the University of Manitoba climbing gym.
Rental equipment including harness and shoes.
Photos taken and emailed to you within the week.
Light snacks and Nuun hydration.

Who Can Climb?

Session 1: Toddlers – Early Elementary aged children suggested.
Session 2: Mid Elementary aged and up children suggested.
Please note: all children are welcome in either session, if it is better for the family schedule.
This event was planned in celebration Mothers’ Day, but we welcome fathers and other family members to participate as well.
Each registration includes one parent & child entry.
Each child must have a legal parent or guardian present.
We encourage additional children to be enrolled with an additional parent, aunt, uncle.

Photography on Site

Our photographer is here to help your family capture memories, so you can get the most out of your time together. The photographer on hand will check in with you at the start of the event, recording your name and email address. Photos will be shared with you post event, maintaining privacy of all participants and their children. No close up shots from the event will be used without fully informed, explicit permission.

Tickets : $20 for parent & child pair registration. Includes 45 minutes of climbing.

Advance registration available only during the MEC Spring Climb Celebration, April 4th 6:30-7:30pm at the Co-op.
Remaining online registration will go live on April 15th, 10am.
