In celebration of the Asian Heritage Month and in partnership with the Asian Heritage Society of Winnipeg.
Taste of Asia is a celebration of culture and the food that connects us to our heritage. Launched with the purpose of supporting local small businesses and providing a platform for the community to promote the multicultural mosaic of Canada and create harmony between various cultural groups through an event that fostered mutual respect and cooperation. It is a day of family fun, cultural performances, and some of the best Asian food around.
Taste of Asia is open to all and free to attend. So grab a bite of something you’ve never had before (or visit the stall of your favorite local restaurant), wash it down with some milk tea, take photos with county-specific photo stations, enjoy cultural performances by the Asian Heritage Society of Manitoba and family games, and enjoy the best of Asia that Winnipeg has to offer.
