Events Description

The Winnipeg Wine Festival is Manitoba’s premier food and wine event and the largest fundraising event for Special Olympics Manitoba.

An annual highlight on Winnipeg’s event calendar, the Winnipeg Wine Festival is the second largest tasting festival of its kind in Canada. From intimate and unique WineDown events, Inspire Gala Dinner and signature Public Tasting events held at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, there’s something for every wine lover, at the Winnipeg Wine Festival.

The festival is held every year and showcases wines from all over the world, some of which are new to the market and only available at the festival. Offering plenty of opportunities to learn about the latest trends in wine consumption and production. Festival-goers can purchase their favourite bottle of wine from the onsite Liquor Mart store.

The three main objectives of the Winnipeg Wine Festival are: to raise funds for Special Olympics Manitoba, to provide an informative, educational, and entertaining wine experience for public and trade, and to be a premier marketing opportunity for the wine industry and festival partners.

The Winnipeg Wine Festival is excited to welcome the Wines of Argentina
Wines of Argentina are produced in Argentina, a South American country with a rich history of winemaking dating back to the 16th century. Argentina is now the sixth-largest wine-producing country globally and is famous for producing high-quality, flavourful wines enjoyed both domestically and internationally.

The Mendoza region, located at the foothills of the Andes mountains, is the hub of Argentina’s wine production due to its ideal grape-growing conditions. Popular grape varietals used in Argentine wine production include Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Torrontés, with Malbec being the most famous.

The Wines of Argentina are a unique and flavourful addition to the wine world, with a rich history that continues to evolve.

Be sure to stop by and taste what Argentina has to offer!
