The Winnipeg Wine Festival is Manitoba’s premier food and wine event and the largest fundraising event for Special Olympics Manitoba. The Winnipeg Wine Festival has raised more than $3 million for Special Olympics Manitoba over the past 20+ years to fund sport programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities across the province.
An annual highlight on Winnipeg’s event calendar, the Winnipeg Wine Festival is the second largest tasting festival of its kind in Canada. From intimate and unique WineDown events, Inspire Gala Dinner and signature Public Tasting events held at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, there’s something for every wine lover, at the Winnipeg Wine Festival.
The festival is held every year and showcases wines from all over the world, some of which are new to the market and only available at the festival. Offering plenty of opportunities to learn about the latest trends in wine consumption and production. Festival-goers can purchase their favourite bottle of wine from the onsite Liquor Mart store.
The main objectives of the Winnipeg Wine Festival are to raise funds for Special Olympics Manitoba, and to provide an informative, educational, and entertaining wine experience.
