Experience the magic of the holiday season at the Zoo!
Wander through a winter wonderland and enjoy stunning light displays, tasty treats, and endless joy and cheer. Zoo Lights is a festive, holiday tradition for the whole family!

NEW this year – take your picture with Santa and other winter characters, stroll through the light maze, play LED games like corn hole and ladder toss, and explore a unique visual and musical experience with Domino Effect.

Your favourite displays are back this year, including the iconic “LOVE” sign, blankets of cascading Aurora Borealis lights, and the colourful light tunnel along the Tundra Trail. Gather round roaring fire pits, enjoy your favourite treats, and snap your selfies at brand new festive photo ops!
NEW AT ZOO LIGHTS
Fun and Games: Test your skills at games like ladder ball and corn hole. Games will glow in the snow! Then, wander through our brand new, larger than life light maze! At six feet tall, the light maze will surround you with holiday cheer and wonder.

Meet Santa and More: Santa and other wintery characters will be at Zoo Lights to meet you and your family! Bring your own camera or phone to capture your special moment.

Santa will be in attendance every night until December 23.
Sunday – Thursday: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Friday – Saturday: 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Discover Domino Effect: Domino Effect by Ingrid Ingrid is a dazzling, interactive display that invites you to play with giant dominos! Topple the dominos in a long cascade and enjoy the results as the domino orchestra plays a unique musical work in an illuminated rainbow of pastel hues!

Domino Effect by Ingrid Ingrid, is a production of Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, distributed by QDSinternational.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE
Tasty treats and warm drinks are must-haves at Zoo Lights! All food and beverage stations are serving hot and cold drinks including coffee, hot chocolate, craft beer, wine, and more! Adults, add a shot of Baileys or RumChata to your hot drink!

Tundra Grill: Full service, indoor restaurant serving burgers, hotdogs, fries, snacks, popcorn, grab-and-go items, and more!
Marquee Tent: Quick, hot foods and snacks, soft pretzels, and other tasty treats.
Winston’s: Mouth-watering mini donuts!
Bison Snack Shack: Grab-and-go meals and snacks, soft pretzels, and other tasty treats.

Sensory Night: Sensory Night is a special evening at Zoo Lights designed to provide a more comfortable experience for our guests with sensory regulation or processing needs.

Tickets: $16.50 + GST (all ages 3+) | Children 2 and under FREE

What to Expect at Sensory Night
Flashing or strobing lights will be turned off.
Music volumes will be lowered or off.
Maximum event capacity will be reduced by 50%.
A quiet room will be available with soft lighting, sensory toys, and blankets.

Tickets for Zoo Lights are time and date specific. Purchase tickets in advance online or at the Zoo entrance during daytime hours to reserve your visit!

December Dates: $16.50 + GST (all ages 3+)
November Dates – 50% off: $8.25 + GST (all ages 3+)
January Dates – 15% off: $14.05 + GST (all ages 3+)
Children 2 and under: FREE

There is a large parking lot located at the Zoo entrance at 2595 Roblin Boulevard. An additional parking lot is located along Zoo Drive, just East of the Zoo inside Assiniboine Park. A lit pathway connects the Zoo Drive parking lot to the entrance on Roblin Boulevard. Click here to see a Park map.
