Winnipeg’s Canadian Museum of Human Rights has temporarily closed its doors to visitors in a bid to stop the Covid-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean you can’t tour its galleries. Yes, you can now explore the museum from your home!

The museum has posted a new virtual tour that explores two galleries in the second level of the museum – Indigenous Perspectives and Canadian Journeys. In this 21-minute video, together with guide Carly, you will explore the Spirit Panels, the Lights of Inclusion floor and more. In addition, the Museum’s mobile app will take you from gallery to gallery. Explore the exhibits through images, videos and narration. Each of the exhibit deals with a different aspect of human rights. From Rights on the Job to the Spirit Panels, there’s lots to see online.

Those who haven’t been to the museum yet can learn more about its exhibits and explore its unique architecture online.
