Police are investigating graffiti at a park in downtown Edmonton dedicated to officers who have died in the line of duty.
A statue and a plaque in the park were spray-painted, with one scrawl containing a derogatory phrase about police.
A police spokeswoman says officers are looking for any public dash camera video of the area near Ezio Faraone Park recorded between Wednesday and Thursday.

Const. Ezio Faraone was shot and killed while chasing robbery suspects in 1990.
The defaced park plaque honours Const. William Nixon, who was shot dead in 1919 while questioning a suspicious man loitering in the downtown.
Mayor Don Iveson said in a tweet that vandalism “doesn’t advance the cause for social justice.”
“Edmontonians are extremely grateful to our first responders for their sacrifice,” Iveson said Friday.
The city said workers were cleaning up the graffiti.
Police said the park was also hit with anti-police graffiti in May and July.
