1. Dora the Explorer Live!
Dora is embarking on her most important mission yet in Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys. This interactive live show will have the whole family out of their seats singing and dancing along. 2. Varekai | Cirque du Soleil
Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world – a world where something else is possible. A world called Varekai. The word Varekai means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. This production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to the infinite passion of those whose quest takes them along the path that leads to Varekai.

A weekend full of entertainment and activities for all ages, including a parade and music.
4. National Aboriginal Day – Edmonton

5. Aboriginal Day Celebration – Stony Plain
Join in and experience different cultural teachings and activities that profile Aboriginal Communities across our country. In its 16th year, this celebration brings together children and families in an event with fun food, information and contemporary and traditional music and dance.
6. Garden Day at the Park
Celebrate Canada’s National Garden Day with us at the St. Albert Botanic Park. We will have Children’s Activities, volunteer opportunities and our experienced volunteers on hand to answer your questions about gardening and the different areas of our beautiful park.
7. National Garden Days
Garden Days is a Canada-wide, coast-to-coast-to-coast celebration of all things “garden”. We’ve lined up a weekend of fun at the Devonian Botanic Garden to celebrate!
8. St. Jean Baptiste Festival
The Annual St. Jean Baptiste Festival celebration is the Morinville Festival Society’s flagship event celebrating our Town’s French Heritage. This three-day family festival truly offers something for everyone. From games to the farmers market to the mid way and food and more.
9. Zoo Fest 2015
Come out for a fun filled evening and find out what goes on at the Edmonton Valley Zoo after the gates close for the evening! Adults can sip wine and sample some of Edmonton’s finest cuisine, while the kids explore the Kid’s Zone and interact with all our furry, feathered and cold-blooded friends! Not only is it fun for the whole family but the entire event is in support of two great non-profits- the Valley Zoo Development Society and Zebra Child Protection Centre! Come join us for an evening of fun, adventure and surprise!
10. Super Magical Family Fun Day
Bring the kids to meet some real princesses and superheroes! There will be photo opps, a bouncy castle, face painting and live entertainment by young musicians from Dominelli School of Music. Plus meet some cold-blooded creatures from Reptile Parties and take part in the casting call for Edmonton Child’s Magazine front cover.

11. Father’s Day Weekend
It is time to honour pop and celebrate his special day. Meet dads of the past and get to know their stories. From prairie gentlemen to regular Joes. Featuring woodcutting, potato eating contests, burly man competitions and other fabulous feats of fatherhood.

Celebrate Father’s Day a day early at the Don Wheaton’s Absolute Annihilation Night. We’re going to SMASH ‘EM, we’re going to CRASH ‘EM, we’re going to DROP ‘EM and you know we’re going to BURN ‘EM! We’re going to drop cars from a crane just to see what happens. A Jet Car will burn a car “just because.” Ambulances will race around the track, and because it’s the end of the school year so will School Busses. It’s an evening of mayhem where anything goes. 1. New Territories: 27th Annual Members’ Show
Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is celebrating the double opening of “New Territories” and “Exposed: Naked Show,” The BBQ will feature food and drinks provided by event sponsors The Keg and Alley Kat. The 23rd Annual “Exposed: Naked Show” will feature drawings, paintings and sculptures from Harcourt House’s drop-in sessions with live models. Pieces from both “New Territories” and “Exposed: Naked Show” will be available for sale. All proceeds from the barbecue and 20% of each piece sold will go to Harcourt House’s operations. Details

Wildlife artist Colin Starkevich, a native Edmontonian, shares his passion for the Grasslands region of Alberta in his world première exhibition of “Glimpses of the Grasslands: The artistic vision of Colin Starkevich”.
