2. Root for Trees Fest
Kids 11 and under can participate in a 0.5, or 1 kilometre race where they run, plant a tree, and then water it. Help the Community Greening Team and Syncrude volunteers plant 1,000 trees! Live music, a food truck, nature displays, presentations and tattoos will round-out this tree-ific day!
3. Old-fashioned Parade and Picnic
An old fashioned, enjoyable, low cost celebration and gathering for families, residents, and visitors of all ages. Events include Senior’s Centre craft sale,Church concession, community food booths, food trucks and market vendors, bouncy castle activities, glitter tattoos, petting zoo, pony rides, horse wagon rides, children’s games and more! Come spend the day with your family and friends.

4. Family Fun Day
Join us for family fun! play in the park, get a sparkle tattoo, bounce in the castle, listen to some music and the list goes on. The event will start Saturday afternoon and finish Sunday morning – with a free pancake breakfast. Camp overnight for some extra bonfire fun.

3. Homeless for a Night
Homeless for a Night is about becoming more acquainted with the incredibly difficult reality that more than 500 youth in Edmonton face – homelessness. Their reality is painted with fear, confusion, hunger, hopelessness, despair, struggle, loneliness, abuse, abandonment, and trauma. Homeless for a Night challenges participants to help raise awareness about the hardships that these youth face, while raising pledges to help them rebuild their lives.

Koch Ford Lincoln in Edmonton, Alberta, is partnering with Zoe’s Animal Rescue to help raise money for rescue animals in need.
