1. Farmers’ Days Rodeo and Exhibition
The weekend event features a rodeo, midway with carnival games and the Kids’ Korral, which includes a petting zoo, bounce room and activities area. Other activities include the General Store with more than 50 vendors; a pancake breakfast; the Rotary Parade; live entertainment; beer gardens; and a non-denominational church service on Sunday morning.

2. Sprouts New Play Festival for Kids
Enjoy a morning in Old Strathcona then join us at the ATB Financial Arts Barns for an afternoon of storytelling, music, art and theatre – all for kids. These plays can be enjoyed by children as young as 18 months to 12 years old. Babes in arms are also warmly welcomed.
3. Legacy Park Family Festival
The 20th Annual Legacy Park Family Festival offers residents and visitors an exciting, hands-on day to celebrate Family and Community. Local community bands, vocalists, and dancers will entertain you at the Legacy Park Band Shell. This year prepare to be dazzled by the high energy performance of Booming Tree – a Taiko Japanese drumming duo.
4. Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day is an exciting, activity-packed day with something for everyone to enjoy. Come out to enjoy ziplining, rock climbing, rappelling and more on our state-of-the-art high ropes course. Kids under eight can have a blast having pony rides and playing in bouncy castles! There will be hayrides all day for everyone of all ages, and a delicious barbecue.
5. Kurimoto Japanese Garden Spring Festival
Celebrating 25 years of the Kurimoto Garden, a showcase of Japanese culture in a very special spring setting. Martial arts demonstrations, art displays and demos, dance and music performances, children’s games and crafts, authentic Japanese Tea Ceremonies, Japanese food sampling, the Taiko drummers and more.
6. Healthy Kids Day
Your family is invited to join us at your local YMCA to participate in Healthy Kids Day activities! Come out and meet members of our camp staff team and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon participating in camp-oriented activities.
