5. Founder’s Day

From 1912 through to 1938, the Rutherford family hosted an annual Founder’s Day celebration. Mr. Rutherford and the University of Alberta graduating students would plant a tree on campus and then return to the family home for a luncheon. 6. Disney’s Lion King Jr.

The animals of the Pride Lands will welcome Simba, the newborn cub of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. All of your favourite characters are here in the Horizon Players’ youth production of Disney’s Lion King Jr., a stage adaptation of the Disney hit film.
