If you are not quite ready to pack away the camping gear, Saskatchewan’s provincial parks are giving you a little more time outdoors.

Fall camping reservations are now open for stays through the end of October, with many parks continuing to welcome campers as the season shifts into cooler weather and fall colours.
Through the end of September, many parks will still offer amenities such as electricity and water. Once October arrives, services will be more limited, so you will want to check what is available at your specific campsite before booking.
You can reserve October campsites at 11 provincial parks, including Blackstrap, Buffalo Pound, Duck Mountain, Echo Valley, Good Spirit Lake, Greenwater Lake, Moose Mountain, Pike Lake, Rowan’s Ravine and Saskatchewan Landing. Great Blue Heron Provincial Park will remain available until Oct. 12.
If you prefer a few extra comforts, Camp-Easy Yurts are available at seven parks, including Buffalo Pound, Douglas and Echo Valley. The yurts sleep up to six people and come with items such as camp chairs, a fridge, space heater, cooking equipment and a fire pit.
Regular camping rates continue through September.
Starting Oct. 1, reduced rates kick in to reflect the limited services. Electric sites will cost $31 per night, while non-electric sites will be $16 per night.
