The grocery retailer confirmed it will open a new store at 39 Huron Street in Collingwood on March 26, 2026. When the doors open, the location will become Farm Boy’s 52nd store in Ontario.
The opening won’t be a quiet one. The company says the community is invited to three days of launch events running March 26 to March 28, with product samples, games, giveaways, and appearances from the brand’s mascot.
“We’re delighted to be bringing ‘A Farm Boy Fresh Twist’ on the food experience to Collingwood,” said Shawn Linton, President and General Manager of Farm Boy Company Inc. He described the move as an opportunity to become part of the town’s everyday routines while offering fresh food and friendly service.
The store also carries a familiar touch for many residents. Farm Boy says several employees from the former Sobeys location will return as part of the new team, allowing customers to see familiar faces when they shop.
Inside the store, visitors will notice a design element that reflects the area itself. A custom mural inspired by Collingwood and Blue Mountain has been created as a prominent in-store feature, highlighting the region’s landscape and local pride.
The store will feature fresh produce, local products, prepared meals, and international grocery selections designed for both residents and visitors to the Collingwood and Blue Mountain area.
