Friday, September 30th marks the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a federal Statutory holiday.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day to reflect on the impacts of residential schools, honour survivors of residential schools, their families, their communities and all of those who never made it home, and learn more about the perspectives of Indigenous Peoples.
While it is not a provincial holiday in Alberta, the cities of Calgary and Edmonton along with some other cities announced that Sept. 30th will be a holiday for city employees. September 30th is a statutory holiday in Manitoba.
To recognise the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Pursuit will be offering complimentary admission to to all Pursuit attractions to all members of the extended Indigenous community, on Friday, September 30th.
Pursuit Adventures operate some of the most popular adventure attractions in the Canadian Rockies like Banff Gondola, Maligne Lake Cruise, and Golden Skybridge.
