Get those stretchy pants ready because a massive fried chicken festival will be taking over Scarborough Town Centre grounds this August weekend.
Street Eats Market will be hosting a special food festival battle pitting some of Toronto’s best-fried chicken experts against each other.
From buttermilk-soaked Cajun strips and Korean Fried Chicken to authentic Nashville hot chicken, there will be some new wild creations and classic comforts to delight your tastebuds this weekend.

The organisers say the festival will also feature live bands, and DJs.
The festival goers will be able to entertain themselves with various arcade games, axe throwing, giant jenga, and more!
Fried Chicken Fest runs from August 12th to 14th at 500 Progress Ave, Scarborough. The hours are Friday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m, and Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m
The tickets cost $5 with kids under 12 free, but you will be eating for a good cause as net proceeds will be donated to Scarborough Health Network.
