Celebrate 20 years of Exhibition Place ghost walks with an after-dark tour through some of the grounds’ most historic buildings. Guides share stories passed down by staff while visitors gain access to sites including Scadding Cabin, Toronto’s oldest surviving building, and the Horse Palace. The experience combines architectural history, local folklore and tales of unexplained activity.

Alone in the Dark
Go beyond the regular Exhibition Place ghost walk with an intimate paranormal investigation inside Stanley Barracks. Small groups enter the historic building after hours with The Haunted Walk to investigate its reportedly active spaces in darkness. Designed for older participants interested in paranormal investigation, the experience offers far more time inside the building than the regular heritage tour.

Beyond the Village Veil: Spirit Seeking
Explore Pickering Museum Village with professional psychic mediums during a more intensive paranormal experience. Lantern Tours at Colborne Lodge: The Unexplained

Walk through Streetsville Memorial Cemetery as costumed actors portray people and events from Mississauga’s past. Spadina Museum turns Halloween into an interactive mystery rather than a traditional ghost walk. Visitors become detectives in a fictional case involving real historical personalities, following clues and solving riddles throughout the house. The experience uses the mansion’s period rooms and history as the setting for a story-driven evening that combines puzzle solving, suspense and historical interpretation.

Montgomery’s Inn Lantern Tours: Beyond Mourning
Explore Montgomery’s Inn by lantern light before continuing into the nearby Islington burial ground. Oakville Historical Society Ghost Walks
Take an evening walk through Old Oakville with a costumed character from the community’s past. Alone in the Dark – The Village at Black Creek
Enter some of Black Creek’s reportedly most active heritage buildings with a group of no more than 12 people and investigate them in darkness. The Haunted Walk leads participants through spaces including the notorious Half Way House while introducing techniques used to seek paranormal activity. Each investigation is deliberately unscripted, so experiences vary from one group to another.

The Haunted Walks
Toronto’s Haunted Walk offers several guided experiences exploring the city’s darker history. Tours delve into stories involving old graveyards, theatres, mysterious deaths and reported supernatural encounters. Options include the Original Haunted Walk and the Spirits of the Distillery District, allowing visitors to explore different neighbourhoods and historical periods through a mixture of researched history and local ghost lore.
