Jimmy John’s is bringing its Picklewich to Canada nationwide, giving pickle fans a bread-free take on the chain’s sandwiches.
Starting October 5, 2026, five Picklewich varieties are available at Canadian Jimmy John’s locations for a limited time and while supplies last.
Instead of bread, each sandwich uses a large dill pickle sliced and filled with Jimmy John’s ingredients. The result is a crunchier, tangier version of the chain’s usual deli-style sandwiches.
“The bread is gone, but the dill is great,” said Angelo Ragas, Brand Leader at Foodtastic, the Canadian company behind Jimmy John’s.
Customers can choose from five combinations.
- The Turkey Picklewich comes with turkey, provolone, tomato and lettuce.
- The Roast Beef Picklewich includes roast beef, provolone, lettuce and tomato.
- The Vito Picklewich combines salami, capocollo, provolone, lettuce, onion and tomato, bringing the chain’s Italian-inspired flavours into the pickle format.
- There is also a Ham Picklewich, made with ham, provolone, lettuce and tomato.
- For those looking for a meat-free option, the Veggie Picklewich includes provolone, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
The launch expands a product that first attracted attention as a viral menu item. Jimmy John’s says all five versions will be offered across its Canadian locations beginning October 5.
Jimmy John’s was founded in 1983. Foodtastic launched the brand in Canada in 2024, and the chain now has more than fifteen locations in the country.
The five Picklewich sandwiches are available for $8.99 each for a limited time and while supplies last.
