Glassdoor has announced the winners of its annual Employees’ Choice Awards which recognises the Best Places to Work in 2022 across Canada with 1,000 or more employees.
The list features companies across a range of industries, including technology, finance, government, telecommunications, travel & tourism and more.
Dell Technologies topped the list followed by Keg Restaurants, Roche, Ciena and Google taking the top 5 spots. The cities of Mississauga and Montreal came in the 14th and 18th positions respectively.
According to the news release, Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards are based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback by completing a company review about their job, work environment and employer over the past year.
Glassdoor says the awards are determined using Glassdoor’s proprietary awards algorithm, and each employer’s rating is determined based on the quantity, quality and consistency of Glassdoor-approved company reviews submitted by Canada-based employees between October 20, 2020 and October 18, 2021. During the year-long eligibility period, employers considered must have received at least 25 ratings for each of the nine workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend and six-month business outlook) taken into account as part of the awards algorithm.
