Greater Toronto Area Hamilton School Boards Cancel January 18th In-Person Classes

Greater Toronto Hamilton Area schools have cancelled in-person classes for a second straight day as many roads remain unplowed following Monday’s snowstorm.

List of school and bus cancellations

Durham District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online for secondary school students. No online classes for elementary students.

 Durham District Catholic School Board:In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online for secondary school students. No online classes for elementary students.

 Toronto District School Board & Toronto Catholic District School Board:  In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held asynchronously depending on staff decisions. 

Peel District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled. Classes will be held online.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online.

York Region District School Board:  In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online.

York Catholic District School Board:  In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online asynchronously.

Halton Catholic District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online asynchronously.

Halton District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled, some classes will be held online asynchronously.

Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board: In-Person and online classes cancelled

Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board: In-Person classes cancelled, classes will be held online asynchronously.

GTHA schools were scheduled to reopen for in-person classes after Ontario moved classes online due to COVID-19 restrictions.
