Hang Out With Sloths and Animals of the Amazing Rainforest Starting This Weekend in Burlington

Get ready to go on an amazing journey starting this weekend. Your nature adventure starts at the Royal Botanical Garden where you will be transported to one of the world’s most fascinating habitats, the rainforests.

‘Under the Canopy: Animals of the Rainforest’ is an immersive, interactive exhibit that opens at the RBG on February 4th. Here, you will get to meet some of the many plants and animals that call rainforests home. Although the experience will not include a hands-on experience, you can still meet sloth, boa constrictors and other animals in their enclosures as well as during Animal Encounter programs.

Many interactive programs and activities are planned to enhance your experience. These programs led by RBG Interpreters offer insights into the importance of this amazing habitat in our lives, the threats faced by the rainforests and why protecting this habitat is so important.

On select days in the evening, enjoy a nightlife experience as part of RBG After Dark. Grab a drink, enjoy the music, and experience the exhibit after dark. Tickets for this 19+ event will be available soon.

Under the Canopy is included with General Admission and free for RBG Members. Visitors must pre-book their time slots to visit. Plan to take in other spaces of the RBG, visit the gardens or enjoy gliding on the ice and let this day be all about hanging out with nature.
