There are a couple of new ice cream shops new to Edmonton this summer, so you can celebrate Ice Cream Day along with a grand opening or two. And these shops aren’t just focused on your basic cone and cups. You can find unique flavours, cakes and sandwiches, milkshakes, or even a beer float.

So, La Carraia do not actually sell ice cream, but its Italian cousin: gelato! The ingredients are close, but the preparation of each dessert is where the differences lay.
