Head to downtown Winnipeg this weekend for the largest street festival in the city.
This has been one of Winnipeg’s favourite events for the past 12 years. The event is free and has a ton of fun things for you to do. They have 2 stages, numerous live musical performances, a family zone, a local artisan market, and more food trucks than you can count.
Wonder Shows will be bringing thrilling midway rides.
At the Lakeside Lounge, enjoy delicious craft beer from Lake of The Woods Brewing Company. You can also get beer from the Cargo Bar and other satellite bars. They offer Lago Mexican Style Lager, Lakeside Kolsch, Forgotten Lake Blueberry Ale, Deadman’s Switch NEIPA and many other options to choose from. The beer and wine garden also sells wine and coolers.
There will be live music at the Lakeside Lounge Stage on Friday, followed by a football game viewing party on Saturday and Sunday. The Goodwill Social Club will be hosting a dance party with DJ Lambo and a live band as well as Karaoke and a drag queen review. On the second stage, the Winnipeg Folk Festival Stage, artists will be performing every day during the festival.
Cheer at the 3 x 3 basketball tournament which will feature youth, wheelchair and elite divisions. On September 10th watch professional wrestlers fight in the ring. You can take pictures in the ring before the match.
The MiniFest Family Zone has several activities that the whole family will enjoy. They also have a 300 Main’s Pup Patio. This is a dog area where your dog can play without the leash. The patio is fenced in and is located beside the main stage tavern. There are several amenities for your dog, such as kiddy pools, cots, a water station, large balls, toys and so much more.
Check out all the delicious food options at the Food Truck Wars. 37 food trucks are offering a wide variety of mouthwatering treats. Winners will be selected for the best presentation, best bang for your buck, most original, judge’s choice and of course the people’s choice.
Manyfest: All Together Downtown by Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries will be held from September 9th to 11th.
The 3-day festival which takes place at Memorial Park & Broadway in Winnipeg will begin at 11 am and continue till midnight on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday the festival will end at 6 p.m.
