Taste of the Middle East: Massive Toronto Festival Celebrating Arabic Food and Culture Is Back This Weekend

The annual Taste of the Middle East Toronto Festival is back this weekend at Nathan Phillips Square.

You can enjoy Arabian cultural performances and middle eastern food at the festival which runs from July 22nd to 24th.

The festival inspired by the concept of 1001 Flavours will transform Nathan Phillips Square into souks of the Arabic culture and community, serving up the delightful tastes of the Middle East’s diversified flavours and cultures.

 

Some of today’s most prominent performers in Toronto’s Canadian Middle Eastern community will be setting the stage on fire. Performers include Karl Wolf on Friday at 10:30 pm, Fadi Kod on Saturday at 10:00 pm.

Entertainment Schedule

In addition to all the delicious eats, you can enjoy chef demonstrations, a spirit lounge, games, art vendors, multiple souks selling jewellery, merchandise, artisans, snacks, drinks, henna artists, face painting, dance workshops, and so much more.

If you are lucky, you may even win some raffles and giveaways.

So get to Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto to enjoy a curated blend of Arabic music, art, heritage and food. The festival is free to attend and runs from 6 pm to 11 pm on Friday, July 22nd, from 12 pm to 11 pm on Saturday, July 23rd and from 12 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, July 24th.
