McDonald’s Canada Offering Free McCafé Coffee & Tea to Frontline Healthcare Workers During January 2022

McDonald’s Canada is offering free coffee or tea to health care and emergency service workers as a sign of appreciation for their tireless work as the country is battling the fifth wave of COVID-19 fueled by the Omicron variant.

 

The offer of free medium McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or Tea starts today for all frontline healthcare workers, vaccine volunteers, medical testing centres and pharmacy workers for the month of January.

 

Frontline workers can visit participating restaurants and get a complimentary drink from the front counter or the drive-thru with their valid work ID.

“Our purpose at McDonald’s is to feed and foster communities and this effort is aimed at acknowledging those who are doing so much to care for our communities right now,” said Gemma Pryor, Senior Director, Canada Impact Team of McDonald’s in a statement. “Throughout the pandemic we saw our franchisees finding creative ways to support their communities in times of need and that’s what we’re seeing again here today with the free coffee offer.”
