On July 17th, National Hot Dog Day, A&W Canada is offering a special promotion on their Whistle Dog.

Customers who purchase a Whistle Dog can get a second for only $1.
The Whistle Dog, popular among A&W patrons, includes a hot dog topped with relish, real cheddar cheese, and bacon, served in a toasted bun.
Originally discontinued in 2017, the Whistle Dog was brought back temporarily in 2022 due to popular demand and reintroduced permanently in May following continued customer requests.
Susan Senecal, CEO of A&W, expressed enthusiasm about the promotion, inviting customers to either share the deal with a friend or enjoy it by themselves. This year marks the first time A&W has run a promotion celebrating National Hot Dog Day with this particular menu item.
This deal is available at participating locations across Canada and can also be accessed via the A&W mobile app.
