Toronto has announced its plans for 2023 New Year’s Eve.

The city will welcome 2023 with two synchronized 15-minute long fireworks.
Unlike last year, when the fireworks were viewable from Scarborough to Etobicoke, this year’s pyrotechnics will be limited to the downtown waterfront.
The high-altitude fireworks displays will be launched across Toronto’s downtown waterfront, viewable from anywhere with views of Toronto’s inner harbour.
The free, live-streamed broadcast will be available on the City’s CultureTO YouTube channel.
There will not be any celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square.
Those visiting Nathan Phillips Square can explore Cavalcade of Lights – the City’s 16.75-metre (55-foot) Christmas tree, holiday lights and public ice skating.
