The focal point of Elora Quarry Conservation Area is the 0.8 ha limestone quarry, surrounded by 12m cliffs. You can enjoy swimming, picnics, nature walks on a 1km loop trail through cedar forests, and scenic views of the Grand River.

Elora Gorge, a breathtaking natural area in the Grand River valley, boasts 22-meter high cliffs and rushing waters enjoyed by kayakers and tubers.

The conservation area features 3km of marked trails with safety barriers, offering stunning views of the deep gorge. Elora Gorge is also famous for tubing – an exciting way to explore the river and cliffs of the gorge.

Both trips include a stop at the Town of Elora, where you can explore a variety of restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and boutiques on its main street. The town of Elora is located about 30 min away by foot from Elora Gorge and Elora Quarry. So after your visit to the conservation, you can enjoy a leisurely walk to the town and enjoy the afternoon.
