Get ready to hop into Easter and welcome spring at the City of Pickering’s annual Easter Parade!
This year’s parade with the theme “Flowers Galore” is hosted by the City of Pickering in partnership with Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606.
The parade will follow a new route this year. It will begin at Annland Street, turn right on Krosno Blbvd, and then on Alyssum Street. It will then turn South on Lublin Ave, turn on Parkham Crescent, and then on Sandy Beach Road, ending at Kinsmen Park. And the Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance!
After the parade, the Legion will host a free BBQ, with plenty of free family fun activities.
Enjoy a complimentary burger or hot dog, games, and live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You can also enter your bonnets, bikes, wagons, doll prams, etc. for the Legion’s “Bonnet Contest” for a chance to win some exciting prizes.
