Global hip-hop sensation Nicki Minaj has unveiled details for her eagerly awaited “Pink Friday 2 World Tour,” set to span across North America and Europe in 2024.
This tour marks her most extensive venture yet, with headline shows in major arenas and appearances at prestigious festivals like Rolling Loud California and Dreamville Festival. The tour announcement coincides with the release of her latest album, “Pink Friday 2,” now available globally.
The Canada leg of Minaj’s tour includes performances on April 17 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, and on April 18 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.
Nicki Minaj, often hailed as the Queen of Hip-Hop, has been a dominant force in music, fashion, and beauty for over a decade. She holds the title of “the first woman to score 100 Billboard Hot 100 Hits,” boasting 133 entries, the highest for a female hip-hop artist. This includes three number ones, over 70 Top 40, and 23 Top 10 hits. Her groundbreaking debut album “Pink Friday,” released in 2010, achieved significant sales, marking a historic moment in female hip-hop.
Beyond music, Minaj has appeared on TV and film, judged on “American Idol,” and starred in movies like “The Other Woman” and “Barbershop: The Next Cut.” She’s collaborated with major brands, released a best-selling MAC lipstick, and co-owns TIDAL. Her ongoing success is evident with her recent achievements, including her first RIAA diamond-certified single and record-breaking streams on Spotify.
