Maan Farms is the kind of fall destination where choosing when to visit matters almost as much as deciding to go, and a fall visit to Maan Farms can be as simple as picking a pumpkin, but that would mean skipping most of what the Abbotsford farm has built around the season.

The 2026 experience stretches from daytime corn mazes and farm animals to ziplines, giant jumping pillows, seasonal food and an expanded forest filled with pumpkins. After dark, the same farm shifts again, with a glowing family-friendly pumpkin experience on one side and four haunted attractions on the other.
Visit during the day:
The centrepiece is the Forest Pumpkin Patch, expanded for 2026 and featuring the farm’s giant Pumpkin House plus 15 photo stops. This is also a working pumpkin patch, so visitors can choose pumpkins to take home rather than simply walking through a display.
From there, the visit becomes much more active. There are two corn mazes, two oversized jumping pillows, three ziplines, pedal go-karts, a wooden play fortress, Bubble Hut and giant board games. The new Corn Play Pit adds another activity to Barnyard Adventureland.
The animal area is another reason families can easily spend several hours here. Visitors can see and feed goats, pigs, alpacas, donkeys, Highland cows, mini horses and sheep.
In other words, this works better as a half-day fall outing than a quick pumpkin-patch stop.
And stay after dark
October brings two completely different nighttime choices.
The Frightfully Fun Forest Pumpkin Patch is the all-ages option. The forest is lit after dark with pumpkins, lights and fog, and admission includes three rotating stage performances in the Midway, Wine Garden and Forest Pumpkin Patch. Characters remain after the shows for photos and interactions.
The Halloween Fright Festival is aimed at visitors who actually want to be scared. A 2026 ticket includes all four haunted attractions, the midway and the illuminated pumpkin forest. The major new haunt is BADLANDS, built around environmental effects including heat, cold, wind, rain and humidity. Other experiences use darkness, 3D effects and actor interaction. The farm recommends the haunts for ages 14 and older.
Each haunt runs roughly 15 to 20 minutes, with estimated waits averaging another 15 to 20 minutes, so this is a full evening rather than one quick haunted maze.
What makes Maan Farms worth choosing?
The advantage is choice. Families with young children can make a daytime visit of pumpkins, animals and play attractions. Those wanting the fall atmosphere after sunset can choose the illuminated forest without entering a haunt. Teens and adults can build an evening around the Fright Festival.
Food also gives visitors a reason to linger. The 2026 fall menu includes Double Pumpkin Spice Cream made with roasted farm pumpkins, deep-fried mini donuts and Mama Maan’s pumpkin pie. New this year are Apple Pie Samosas with cheesecake and caramel and Apple Pie Nachos served with warm apple filling and vanilla soft serve. Outside food is not permitted.
For anyone coming from Metro Vancouver, that combination makes Maan Farms more useful as a destination: choose a daytime family outing, a nighttime Halloween trip, or make the farm the main stop on a fall day in Abbotsford.

What: Maan Farms offers two distinct fall experiences in Abbotsford. Fall at the Farm focuses on pumpkins, corn mazes, farm animals, ziplines, play areas and seasonal treats for families. After dark, the Halloween Fright Festival shifts to an older crowd with four haunted attractions, immersive effects and a separately available illuminated pumpkin forest for visitors who prefer spooky atmosphere without intense scares.
Fall at the Farm hours: Daily, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the fall season.
Admission: Tickets start at $20 are required for everyone age 3 and older. Children 2 and under are free. Daytime and Halloween Fright Festival admission are separate.
Halloween Fright Festival: Select fall evenings, generally 7 to 11 p.m. The kitchen and concession close at 10:30 p.m.
Frightfully Fun Forest Pumpkin Patch: 7 to 11 p.m. on Fright Festival nights. It is included with Fright Festival admission or can be booked separately.
Haunt age guidance: Recommended for ages 14+. Children under 5 cannot enter the haunted attractions.
