Queens Harbour Opens July 11 as Toronto’s Largest Waterfront Dining Venue and Home to the Country’s Largest Retractable Rooftop

Toronto’s Harbourfront will see the launch of Queens Harbour on Friday, July 11. At 23,000 square feet with seating for 800 guests, it stands as the city’s largest new restaurant and features what is said to be the country’s largest retractable rooftop.

The restaurant was founded by Ali Badreddine, Kevin Jazexhi, and Iris Jazexhi. Designed with flexibility in mind, the venue includes a grand bar, banquettes, and private dining rooms, all framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-concept layout.

The restaurant is split into distinct areas. One key feature is the open kitchen and sushi bar, where guests can watch dishes being prepared. Another is “Queens Garden,” a two-level dining area with a custom retractable roof offering both open-air and enclosed seating.

The menu, described as “MediterrAsian,” blends Mediterranean and Asian culinary influences. It was developed by Chef Robert Balint with input from Julien Laffargue. Dishes include sushi, seafood towers, and shareable platters.

Beverage offerings range from cocktails and wines to non-alcoholic drinks, including mocktails. The restaurant will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. at 245 Queens Quay W, Toronto.

Reservations are now available online and by phone at (416) 572-4300.
