Leaving the house for Valentine’s Day date this year is a little easier than we may have expected. Within the Calgary area, you’ll come across several restaurants working at giving you and someone special the perfect night out.
The recent lifting of some dining restrictions allowed these restaurants to open their doors to a limited number of people for Valentine’s Day Dinner and Brunch Specials.
All the dine-in Valentine’s packages must be booked in advance to allow for adequate social distancing. The variety of meals below are sure to be appreciated, whether it is for a romantic date, or to simply show someone you care.
Selkirk Grille – Heritage Park Historical Village
The Selkirk in Heritage Park is re-opening its dining room on Thursday, February 11th! Enjoy a romantic Chateaubriand dinner for two, Saturday or Sunday Night.

Spoil someone you love and care about through food and drink. Thomson’s offers a Valentine’s Surf n’ Turf with a bottle included, making those V-Day dinner plans a breeze. Their two-person dinner starts with BC Albacore Tuna and moves to an entrée of grilled fillet mignon and Gold Pernod prawns. And of course, your final course is a chocolate dessert.

Pubblico Italian Kitchen
While the menu for Pubblico’s Chef’s Special Valentine’s Dinner is not yet available, you still know it will be good. Pubblico is a 4.5-star restaurant on OpenTable and receives rave reviews on their authentic Italian fare. The Chef’s Special is set to include a three-course meal with wine pairing.
