The Rideau Carleton Raceway officially opened on September 1st, 1962 as Canada’s first-ever five-eighths mile oval.
For decades, the Rideau Carleton Raceway has brought harness racing and other kinds of incredible entertainment to the local community. If you’re interested in celebrating everything that the Raceway has offered, or if you’re just interested in an amazing experience, you’ll want to head to this event.
Head to the raceway to watch a breathtaking race, and then stick around to catch this incredible fireworks show.
The post time for the race is 6:30 pm, and the fireworks are expected to begin between 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm. This free event is perfect if you’re looking for something to do with the entire family, or if you’re looking for a fun thing to do with friends.
As part of the celebrations, the public can also join in for their chance to win over $200,000 in prizes from September 1st to October 30th.
