In honour of Canada’s 158th birthday, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is offering a throwback-style deal that links directly to the country’s roots.

Jewel Gallery, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada
From June 28 to July 1, a limited number of tickets — exactly 1,867 each day — will be available for just $18.67.
The number and the price are no coincidence. On July 1, 1867, the British North America Act united Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada (which later became Ontario and Quebec) to form the Dominion of Canada.
Anyone hoping to take advantage of the offer will need to plan ahead. Tickets must be bought in person at the aquarium’s Toronto location. There’s no option to purchase online or by phone. Each guest is limited to one purchase of up to six tickets, and everyone in the group needs to be there at the time of buying. The deal is strictly for same-day use, and once the 1,867 tickets for the day are sold, the window closes.
With regular adult tickets priced at $46, the $18.67 rate offers significant savings.
The aquarium, located at 288 Bremner Boulevard, is using this opportunity to celebrate both Canada’s natural wonders and the anniversary of its confederation and will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. throughout the four-day event.
