New Brunswick is kicking off tourism season after pandemic closures by launching a summer sweepstakes contest.

The province is encouraging residents to invite friends and family to visit their favourite places and attractions in the province as part of the summer sweepstakes contest #RSVPNB.
According to the news release, the winners, and three of their guests, will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to experience the best of what the province has to offer, with the help of a personal travel concierge from Kefi Travel. The contest open to New Brunswick residents is now open and ends on 11:59pm on May 31, 2022. The winner must be available to travel between June 2022 and March 31, 2023.
“It’s all about spreading the word that everyone is invited,” said Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Tammy Scott-Wallace in a news release. “We are calling on New Brunswickers to join us in sharing our story with the rest of the world and inviting them to discover our beautiful province and make it their own. I ask everyone to share with friends and family some of their favourite places and attractions they have discovered here.”
As part of the New Brunswick government’s tourism strategy, the government is also planning a series of marketing campaigns tailored to different audiences and seasons, but with the common thread of showing people that New Brunswick is the top vacation destination in Atlantic Canada and is a constant draw for visitors from around the world.
Last year, the province offered a travel rebate of 20 per cent rebate on eligible expenses of up to $1,000 to all Atlantic Canadians for visiting New Brunswick.
