In a collaboration with Ryan Reynolds, The Terry Fox Foundation has launched its annual limited-edition shirt to commemorate the 44th Terry Fox Run.

This year, the shirt carries the #NoMatterWhat tagline, embodying Terry Fox’s resolute spirit during his Marathon of Hope in 1980.
The back of the shirt reads, “No matter the distance.
No matter the obstacles.
No matter the journey.
No matter the odds.
No matter what.”
“As a Vancouverite, the Terry Fox Run has held a special place in my heart and I’m thrilled to once again partner with the Terry Fox Foundation to help launch this year’s shirt in support of this important cause,” says Ryan Reynolds in a news release.
“I know the strength and perseverance Terry demonstrated continues to serve as an inspiration to me and millions of Canadians.”
The shirt, available for purchase on the foundation’s website, is designed to inspire Canadians with Terry Fox’s enduring story of courage.
Offered in various sizes and styles, the pricing ranges from $25 for a short sleeve, $35 for a long sleeve, to $40 for a performance tee, all manufactured by Adidas.
Terry Fox Foundation says the initiative not only serves as a tribute to Fox’s impact on cancer research but also supports ongoing efforts, with all proceeds going towards cancer research in Canada.
Canadians are encouraged to register and start fundraising for the 2024 run, scheduled for September 15, marking the anniversary of Fox’s Marathon of Hope’s commencement.
Per the news release, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over $900 million through the dedication of more than 20,000 volunteers and 3.5 million students across nearly 10,000 events nationwide. Its efforts have significantly contributed to improved cancer diagnosis, treatments, and outcomes, continuing to honour Terry Fox’s vision and bringing his dream closer to realization.
