Head to Candle Lake and Pike Lake Provincial Park for a fun outdoor experience this holiday season.

Visitors to both these parks can take in the lights from the comfort of their car and on foot on select days.

The Pike Lake Festival of Lights starts this Friday, December 9th and will run on December 9 and 10, and later from December 16 to 21 from 5:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. On December 9, visitors can enjoy the light displays on foot.

Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures will also offer a private 75-minute session on December 9 before or after the walk-through. The sauna experience is offered on two drive-through nights – December 17 and 18. The cost for a private 75-minute sauna for up to 8 people is $198/session.

Once you are through the entire display, vote for your favourite display. Santa will be present on-site, so get your photos taken with Santa.

Want to spend the night at the park? Pike Lake offers camp-easy sites for $80.

Candle Lake Festival of Lights takes place from December 23 to 31st. Take a walk to enjoy the lights from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The drive-through times are 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. You can also go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing on illuminated trails from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The light displays are sponsored by local businesses.

The Festival of Lights is included with a valid park entry. Bring your Sask Parks Entry Permit or purchase entry at the gate for $10 per vehicle. You can also get an Annual Permit at a discounted promotional rate of $40.
