Saskatoon‘s Vesna Festival showcases Saskatchewan‘s rich Ukrainian culture and heritage.
Every year, the festival showcases stunning music and dance performances by talented local artists, an array of vendors selling Ukrainian art and craft, and homemade Ukrainian food.
The festival has something that all can enjoy. The younger ones can explore the arts and craft table ‘sadok’ and take home a complimentary Ukrainian craft created with the help of resident artist, Natalia Garmasar.
Tradition Ukrainian music and dance will be performed on stage by talented artists. Watch Ukrainian dancers display their talents on the floor with a Kolomeyka! Local Ukrainian band Half Na Piv, as well as the newly formed band Nova Mria will have visitors tapping their toes. If you like, you can even take the floor with a polka.
