Sir Sam’s Ski & Ride has officially opened its new Eagle View Observation Tower after 2.5 years of development. The launch coincides with the annual Fall Festival this Thanksgiving weekend, offering visitors an opportunity to take in panoramic views of Eagle and Moose Lakes.

Located on a 100-acre property once owned by Sir Sam Hughes, the site is known for its scenic beauty and rich history. This family-owned resort, one of the oldest ski hills in Ontario, is popular for both skiing and mountain biking.

The Fall Festival will include a variety of activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests can explore a vendor market, enjoy scenic chairlift rides, and participate in a ski swap at the DelanSKI/Delancey Pro Shop. A Kids Zone will feature games, crafts, and scavenger hunts, while live entertainment and local food and beverage options, including a beer garden and Kawartha Dairy ice cream truck, will also be available.

Specific events such as the Birds of Prey Hilltop Show and a Ski Patrol Pumpkin Fundraiser will take place on Saturday. Tickets for the Observation Tower are priced at $5 per person, with family rates available.
