Six Pines Haunted Attractions

Since opening in 1998, the Winnipeg-based attraction has drawn thousands of thrill-seekers and is regularly named among Canada’s top five scariest haunted attractions.

For 2025, organizers are introducing fresh themes and upgraded props, aiming to deliver one of their most terrifying seasons yet. The event offers two very different experiences — the intense Fear by Night haunts and the more family-friendly Ghoul Flashlight Tour — ensuring options for adults, teens, and younger children.

Fear by Night: Extreme Terror for Adults

The main draw this season is Extreme Fear by Night, designed exclusively for mature audiences (ages 13+). These haunts are not suitable for children, pregnant visitors, or those easily frightened.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Barn of Doom – Featuring “Sixth Night at Freddy’s 2,” the attraction pulls guests into a nightmarish game-inspired horror where sinister figures stalk the halls.
  • CarnEvil Haunted House – Titled “Pinky’s Blood Bath,” this maze delivers grotesque and gore-heavy scenes where danger lurks at every corner.
  • Terror Train – The 2025 edition, “Evermore,” takes inspiration from Wednesday Addams’ world, immersing guests in a macabre journey of gothic dread.

A standout feature returning this year is “Double Terror” on six select nights. Guests who complete all haunted houses once can go back for a second run before closing at 9:30 p.m.

Ghoul Flashlight Tour: Family-Friendly Frights

For visitors looking for a gentler option, the Ghoul Flashlight Tour provides a toned-down version of the attractions. Families can bring their own flashlights and wander through decorated haunts guided only by beams of light. While fog, sound effects, and props remain active, no actors jump out, making it suitable for children and the faint of heart.

The Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt will be held on four dates: October 18, 19, 25, and 26, running from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A heated seating area inside the gift shop ensures comfort for those taking breaks.

Where is the Event

Six Pines Haunted Attractions is located 4 km north of Perimeter Highway 101 on Sturgeon Road in Winnipeg. The venue includes concession areas, covered spaces, and heated seating for guests.

When is the Event

The 2025 season runs from October 3 to October 31, with Fear by Night taking place on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus Wednesday, October 29.

What is the Cost

General admission to the nighttime attractions is available through the Fear Pass, which is priced at $50 plus GST. For those who want to skip the lines, the VIP Fear Fast Pass costs $75 plus GST. Visitors who only wish to enjoy the midway and atmosphere without entering the haunted houses can purchase the Nightmare Alley Park Pass for $10 plus GST.

Tickets for the family-friendly Ghoul Flashlight Tour cost $22.50 per person (ages 5+), with free entry for children under 5. A Family Pass for four is available at $80.
