With absolutely no skills required, snow tubing is one of the most accessible and exciting winter activities for families and groups. Riders simply sit back and enjoy the rush as gravity does the work, delivering the thrills of winter without the learning curve of skiing or snowboarding.

Here is a list of places to go snow tubing near Toronto – the sophisticated cousin of old-fashioned sledding.

 

Most snow tubing locations have height restrictions of 42″ (at least) and a weight of 250 lbs (not over).

Select locations offer snow tubing birthday parties.

Snowtubing is a weather-dependent activity. Always call and check to verify operating hours before you travel.

If you do not have a car and want to try snow tubing, you can take public transit to Mount Chinguacousy in Brampton or to ROC in Georgina.

What to wear:  Hat, gloves, boots, a snow jacket, and snow pants. Helmets for young kids.

  • Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard area no longer offers tubing. The tube park has been replaced with skiable terrain.
