Spruce Meadows has announced its first-ever “Live & Intimate” concert series, featuring five renowned music acts in June and July.
The concerts are part of Spruce Meadows’ 50th anniversary in 2025, and plans further to establish itself as a hub for entertainment and sports.
The lineup includes Grammy-winning artist Leon Bridges, country star Dean Brody, Canadian indie band Metric, singer-songwriter Dallas Green (City and Colour Solo), and country sensation Brett Kissel.
Four of these performances will take place in the Equi-Plex building, offering an intimate setting with a maximum audience of 2,000.
Dean Brody will kick off the series on June 7, followed by City and Colour Solo performing on June 14 and 15.
Metric will take the stage on June 28, bringing their award-winning indie rock hits to the intimate venue.
Leon Bridges, known for hits like “River” and “Beyond,” will perform on July 5 and 6 in what will be his Calgary debut.
Brett Kissel’s performance on July 1 will mark Canada Day celebrations at the outdoor Scotiabank Stage. This family-friendly event will also feature a free barbecue and entertainment, with tickets starting at $10 for children and $25 for adults.
The series will coincide with Spruce Meadows’ “Epic Weekends,” featuring world-class show jumping competitions, including ‘Continental,’ ‘National,’ ‘Pan American’ and ‘North American’ tournaments.
Tickets, which include access to both events, go on sale February 14 at 10 a.m. MT.
