Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath Sugar, is set to return to Toronto’s waterfront on March 9 and 10, 2024, for a weekend full of winter fun.
This annual outdoor event will be held at Sugar Beach and will feature all things maple, bringing a taste of Canadian heritage to the heart of the city.
Visitors can indulge in freshly made Ontario maple taffy from two sugar shacks presented by Menkes Developments while enjoying a range of maple-infused comfort food, including maple baked beans, maple cream cheese sandwiches, maple fudge, and delicious Redpath Sugar cookies.
The extravaganza will also feature a Winter Circus Lumberjack show by Tim Burr, providing entertainment that encapsulates the spirit of the season. For those looking to stay cozy, the Billy Bishop Airport warming station offers bonfires and a maple sugaring demo, adding an educational twist to the event’s warm atmosphere.
Ford Canada will be showcasing an electric vehicle lineup, giving attendees a chance to test drive and possibly score tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs game.
Further enhancing the experience, Waterfront Toronto and the Waterfront Neighbourhood Centre will host interactive activities and giveaways, and the Canadian Armed Forces will offer insights into culinary careers, alongside free soup samples. Unity Fitness will keep the energy high with pop-up Zumba classes and more interactive fun.
