Lakeside town is a true beach town with places to stay and eat and things to celebrate and do, all near the beach itself. Whether planning a family getaway, a romantic vacation, or a celebration with friends, Sauble Beach in South Bruce Peninsula has everything you need!

Located about 3 hours from Toronto, the town is easy to navigate and can be seen on foot or by bike, and it offers more hiking opportunities with the nearby Provincial Park. The Sauble River in the park is as much a source for summer fun as Sauble Beach.

Water & Beach Adventures

The shoreline that borders Sauble Beach creates a long stretch of sandy beach space that runs north to south. Most of the town of Sauble Beach is bordered by that sandy strip, making water adventures simple to come across in town.

  • Get access to Sauble Beach’s waterfront area via Main Street. The beach runs parallel to Lakeshore Boulevard and offers facilities like washrooms, a playground, and picnic areas. Many restaurants and bars are located right on the beach!
  • Sauble River Marina & Lodge Resort is a great accommodation options for your summer stay at Sauble Beach. They are also a reliable source for water rentals including canoes, kayaks, peddle boats and bikes, and floating tubes.
  • Boat the Bruce, located about 10 minutes north of Sauble Beach, offer their boat tours for daytime cruises or sunset cruises. The tours explore Lake Hurons Oliphant and Fishing Island shores.
  • Hepworth is about 10-minutes east of Sauble Beach and is where you’ll find Suntrail Source for Adventure. They provide rentals for canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards, as well as guided kayak trips, and kayaking clinics.
